Leading in times of uncertainty is like driving in the fog. You can only see a few feet ahead of you, but you can make the whole journey that way. It’s tempting to stop or pull over. It’s easy to feel paralyzed and get stuck. It’s a challenge to maintain some momentum, keep people engaged, and take one step at a time.

This half-day seminar will bring more clarity and focus to your leadership and provide a simple three part framework to help you lead through uncertainty and strengthen your team for the long haul.

Who’s Listening?

Live Virtual Seminar

We’re not listening. And no one is listening to us. Yet listening is essential to our times. How well we listen determines how well we love, learn, and connect with one another. How well we listen will also l determine how we get through this challenging time we are all facing.

In this moment when we need to hear and be heard more than ever, we have paradoxically become worse at listening. This seminar will change the way you think about communicating with your team, family, and friends. It will provide a roadmap on how to listen and why it matters so much now.

Upon completing this seminar, you should be able to:

  • Understand the deep value of listening conversations to build genuine connection, influence, and engagement during a crisis.
  • Provide a new and different framework for better listening experiences.
  • See what you’re missing and why it matters.
  • Provide a clear path to building better relationships in every part of your life.

Manage Your Mindset and Emotional Well-being

Live Virtual Seminar

Have you considered how you will remain optimistic and hopeful in front of your team and family, no matter what the situation? We are quite aware of the physical and financial toll of COVID-19, but it is the emotional toll over the coming months as people reconcile losses and absorb the human angst of continuing uncertainty that may also be difficult.

Feelings of anxiety, fear and loneliness are more prevalent. This seminar will dig into the need for leaders to make room for all kinds of emotions and lead with strength and compassion while supporting emotional well-being and resilient mindsets.

Upon completing this seminar, you should be able to:

  • Have greater insight into the five stages of grief.

  • Be clear about how you can offer support without trying to be a counsellor.
  • Look at how to offer support virtually.

Balance Life, Work and Overwhelm

Live Virtual Seminar

How is your work-life balance these days? Before many office workers transitioned to remote arrangements, the thought of working from home sounded like a dream. Now there are new challenges.

How do you deal with work that never ends? If you wake up, grab your laptop and begin a 10, 12, 14-hour alternating cycle of flipping from laptop to kids, to laptop, to food, to laptop, until you pass out over the screen and start the pattern again, you are probably ready for a reset!

Upon completing this seminar, you should be able to:

  • Carve a new path from burn out to resilience.
  • Identify patterns that are not sustainable and replace them with habits that build energy.
  • Reduce stress of overwhelm and build presence, focus and daily productivity.
  • Find moments of joy, laughter, and lightness even in times of adversity.
