Created in 2019, the Hesje CPA Knowledge Centre is an initiative of the CPA Education Foundation born from an idea brought forward by Alberta business leader, the late Brian Hesje FCPA, FCA. He believed that Alberta CPAs have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and his vision was to share that expertise and insight of CPAs with the public and to create opportunities for young Albertans to learn about the field of accounting.
Since then, the Knowledge Centre has grown into a hub of resources and materials—podcasts, videos, webinars, etc.—featuring Alberta CPAs sharing their unique perspectives and vast experiences on a wide variety of topics and issues.
The Foundation believes that CPAs are the best ambassadors for the profession and that the Knowledge Centre is uniquely positioned to provide opportunities, both in-person and virtual, for them to share their knowledge and expertise with Albertans.
