Are you a representative of a post-secondary student club? Do you have cool events and initiatives planned for the 2026/27 school year? If so, you’re invited to participate in CPA Alberta’s Post-Secondary Club Sponsorship Program! Students will have the opportunity to submit their club sponsorship proposals to CPA Alberta for potential funding.
The sponsorship package should align with CPA Alberta’s vision and mission, and meet the following criteria:
Evaluation criteria
- Strategic relevance: the intended audience of the activity should be post-secondary students on Alberta campuses.
- CPA designation awareness: the club initiative should demonstrate the benefits of the CPA designation to participants.
- Relevant current issues: the focus and themes of club activities should be current and relevant to students and the CPA profession. For example, themes could focus on the potential impact of recent technologies on business and accounting, student mental wellness, etc.
Submission guidelines
- Ensure your activities meet the evaluation criteria.
- Follow the check list outlined in the “Call for Proposals” email. The more comprehensive your package, the better your chances of receiving funding. Note that incomplete proposals will not be considered.
- Submit your proposal by June 30, 2026. Proposals received by this date will be prioritized, and funding will be available in September.
