As an employer supporting Experience Verification Route (EVR) CPA candidates, the CPA candidate is responsible for obtaining qualifying work responsibilities and reporting to CPA Alberta.

Supervisor Requirements
- The supervisor for an Experience Verification Route report is the person to whom a CPA candidate reports to for the position indicated in their experience report.

As a supervisor overseeing a CPA candidate, you are responsible for verifying that the description of duties and experiences reported in their practical experience report is factually accurate.
- A supervisor must not be related to the CPA candidate and must occupy a position at a higher hierarchy level. They do not need to be a CPA.
- The supervisor and mentor do not need to be the same person.
