Conduct and Discipline - Complaint form

IMPORTANT – READ CAREFULLY

To protect the public interest, CPA Alberta investigates complaints of unprofessional conduct by CPAs, firms, and CPA PEP candidates in Alberta.

CPA Alberta encourages attempting to resolve a dispute before making a complaint; for more information on how to do this, please refer to the complaint and discipline review process:

Complaints Review Process.pdf

If a dispute cannot be resolved and you believe a Registrant has breached the ethical, professional, or practice standards of the profession, you may lodge a complaint with CPA Alberta. Please note:

  • Complaints must be made in writing - see Complaint form below.
  • Complaints cannot be made anonymously.
  • CPA Alberta does not determine or adjust fees. Fee disputes are handled through a separate, voluntary fee mediation process. Learn more at Resolve a Fee Dispute.

* All fields in red are required.
