Joe Gagliardi FCPA, FCMA
Former Chair of the Foundation’s Board of Governors, and relentless champion of the profession, Joe Gagliardi FCPA, FCMA, exemplifies the spirit of the CPAEF Impact Award.
Well-known for his great sense of humour, Joe is passionate about the CPA profession and seeks to provide opportunities for the next generation to excel. His passion for helping students succeed is evident through his active participation in and support of many of CPA Education Foundation initiatives. Throughout the years he’s served as a judge for the Business Challenge Case Competition, taken on Sparking Great Careers interns, and funded his own scholarship—the Joe Gagliardi FCPA, FCMA Scholarship in Accounting—for more than a decade.
Joe Gagliardi has donated considerable amounts every year, and in addition to funding his scholarship, provides mentorship to the recipients where possible.
Joe is a dedicated volunteer in the business community and has served on several boards, from professional associations to publicly traded organizations. He also volunteers his time with various post-secondary education institutions where he participates on numerous committees and looks to pay his past experiences forward to the next generation of business leaders. .
