Jumpstart 2026: What Sets You Apart? Creating Value in an Age of AI and Change

Gain practical insights into industry disruptions, evolving workplace dynamics, and the evergreen skills that set professionals apart so you can create lasting value and build career resilience.

Investing in evergreen capabilities is more relevant than ever as the accounting profession navigates rapid technological change, evolving regulations, and increasing workplace complexity. In this insightful session, participants will gain a practical understanding of how structural disruption is reshaping the profession and why investing in durable, transferable capabilities is essential for long-term success. Whether you are an emerging professional or an experienced leader, you’ll walk away with actionable strategies to remain relevant and adaptable in a constantly changing environment.

We’ll explore the key forces transforming accounting, including automation, artificial intelligence, data analytics, sustainability reporting, cybersecurity, and expanding regulatory requirements. Participants will learn why many technical skills have a limited lifespan and how the growing demand for professional judgment, critical thinking, communication, systems thinking, and learning agility is redefining what it means to be an effective accounting professional.

Most importantly, participants will discover how to future-proof their careers by focusing on the skills that enable them to interpret, adapt, and lead through change.
