Phil the General Counsel and Ethics Officer for the Alberta Auditor General. He is a CPA and King’s Counsel and regularly presents on ethics and laws relevant to the audit profession.
He is responsible for conducting ethics-related investigations under whistleblower legislation and has tribunal experience, bringing practical and adjudicative perspectives to members.
Outside of work, he is learning to pilot a small aircraft and, in the summer, attempting to outfish his wife, pursuits that remain, by his account, elusive.
