CPA Alberta 2026 Convocation

Join us at the 2026 CPA Alberta Convocation to mark the achievements of the successful 2025 CFE writers. CPA Alberta Convocation includes two distinct events:

  • The ceremonies, where successful CFE writers cross the stage and are formally welcomed to the profession
  • The dinner and dance, where successful CFE writers are celebrated with dinner, entertainment, and the opportunity to network and mingle

Calgary

Ceremony

Date: February 6, 2026

Times: 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m.

REMINDER: Graduates and Graduate Sponsors arrival time is one hour prior to ceremony start

Duration: Each ceremony will be between 1 to 1.5 hours

Location: TELUS Convention Centre, Exhibition Hall, 136 8 Ave SE

Time: Graduates will be assigned a ceremony time one week before the event

Dress code: Business

If you are a graduate and did not receive an email invite to register, please reach out to events@cpaalberta.ca.

Note: Livestreams will be available here for guests who are unable to attend.

Recordings of the livestreams will be available shortly after the ceremonies have concluded.

Location: TELUS Convention Centre, Exhibition Hall, 136 8 Ave SE

Time:

  • 6 p.m.: Reception
  • 6:50 p.m.: Graduate march, program, and dinner service followed by a dance

Dress code: Formal

Special rate for accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Calgary

For those attending the Calgary Convocation events, the Hyatt Regency Calgary is offering a special room rate of $169 (plus taxes and service charges) for a traditional room on the evening of Saturday, February 7, 2026. This special offer is available until it sells out.
