ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Based in Calgary, Supreena provides critical insight of the government policy cycle, legislative and regulatory structure, operations and decision-making processes, informed by her 14 years of experience in the public and private sectors.
Supreena is currently the Director, Policy & Engagement at Invest Alberta where she is responsible for leading government relations, market intelligence and research, corporate reporting, data analysis and ESG. Prior to joining Invest Alberta, Supreena was a Government Relations Consultant with Crestview Strategy where she advised, supported and represented companies and high-profile industries to elected officials and key stakeholders. Supreena also spent a decade with the Alberta government, most recently as the Manager of Indo-Pacific and Africa with the Alberta Ministry of Jobs, Economy and Innovation. Here Supreena led a team to advance and develop Alberta’s international interests and relationships, as well as support trade promotion and investment attraction in targeted markets in the Indo-Pacific and Africa regions.
Supreena has a Masters of Public Policy from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta.
