Tax Clinic Program 2020

CPA Alberta is currently planning and organizing our Tax Clinic Program for 2021.

Reminders for the CPA Alberta Volunteer Tax Clinic Program this year:

  • The program will be completed entirely virtually, using a cloud based software called ShareFile
  • All Community Partners will require access to a laptop/desktop, scanner, and reliable Internet
  • Community Partners will be required to designate a Tax Clinic Contact
  • Community Partners will be required to attend/view the Community Partner Training (dates to come; January 2021)
  • The deadline for Community Partner Applications is Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Applications received after this date will not be accepted.

CPA Alberta is preparing to launch our Tax Clinic Program for 2021. 

The deadline for applications has now passed. We are no longer considering applications for the 2021 Tax Clinic Program.

Responsibilities

Applications for Community Partner are now closed.

Community Partners are responsible for reading and understanding the Community Partner Guide. Key documents included in that guide are:

  • Gross Earnings Guidelines and Eligibility Criteria
  • Screening Guidelines and Flowchart
  • Taxpayer Personal Information Checklist
  • TIS60 – Community Volunteer Income Tax Program – Taxpayer Authorization Form
