How can we help?
Career Advisors provide one-on-one coaching - in person, over-the-phone or via email - to help with job search strategies, resume/cover letter enhancement, interview skills, networking techniques, career planning and more. Advisors can also provide information on and referrals to our post-designation mentoring program, the Connector Program, volunteer programs, CPA Assist, professional development courses, and other CPA Alberta departments and services.
If you are an internationally-trained accountant or student, connect with CPA Alberta for specialized career support; this includes all career advising services, along with community/workplace integration resources for newcomers to Canada. In addition to our own integration-focused one-on-one coaching and workshops, we can refer you to a wide-range of specialized community services and resources specifically geared towards internationally-trained professionals, including: mentorship programs, bridging programs, English as a Second Language support, work-readiness training and more.
Career and diversity service offerings are free to CPA Alberta members, along with Alberta-based PEP candidates and preparatory students enrolled with the CPA Western School of Business. To learn more, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1.877.262.2000.
