Darren leads Deloitte’s Assurance practice in Edmonton with a focus on finance modernization. Prior to rejoining Deloitte in 2018, Darren served as Digital Transformation Program Manager for a multinational supply chain company and as CFO of two early-stage technology companies. Darren co-founded a FinTech company that was named Best Startup in Hong Kong (2018) by Seedstars World and received the Hong Kong ICT Silver Award for RegTech. Darren is a Charted Professional Accountant and a Certified Project Management Professional.
Spencer Ord, MBA, CPA, CA, CBV, CFF
Spencer Ord is the Edmonton Financial Modeling Leader within Deloitte Financial Advisory, specializing in providing financial analysis, modelling, and KPI visualizations for clients large and small. Spencer has over 15 years of professional experience, having worked on more than 300 engagements, with clients including owner-managed businesses, large multinational companies and government, across a variety of industries, including but not limited to energy services, mining services, manufacturing, engineering, construction, transportation, restaurants, hospitality, food processing, agriculture, forestry, consumer products, car and motor sport dealerships, financial services, software, life sciences, and telecommunications.
Aaron Syvenky is a consultant in Deloitte’s Risk Advisory practice in Edmonton. He has experience with compliance auditing, internal auditing, and IT control testing. Aaron has served a variety of clients including government entities, regulatory bodies, publicly listed companies, and private businesses. He is a CPA candidate that seeks to apply his passion for analytics across the different types of work he performs to come up with creative solutions to business problems.
