Monday, June 3: Mindfulness 101

There's an old Zen saying that reads, "You should sit in meditation for 20 minutes a day, unless you're too busy. Then you should sit for an hour." As a busy CPA, however, it can be a challenge to find any time at all! Join Chrissy McGale CPA, CGA as she introduces you to the benefits of mindfulness and how to fit it into your busy schedule, and helps you find and master work/life balance through meditation and yoga practices. These practices have been linked to stress reduction and increased focus, and can be done at your desk or on the go. Come breathe, stretch, network, and reset for your afternoon. This session is open to both beginners and seasoned mediation and mindfulness practitioners alike.
