High school students and parents are invited to make CPA Career Connections! Hear from a panel of local Chartered Professional Accountants who will speak about their career paths and answer your questions. Meet representatives from Alberta post-secondary institutions and learn about their business and accounting programs.

Wing is also an active volunteer at the community volunteer income tax clinic, and a Connector at the Calgary Region Immigrant Employment Council. When Wing is not in the office, she can be found cooking and baking at home, hiking with her German Shepherd or practicing yoga.

Ben Cooper-JanvierBenjamin Cooper-Janvier

Benjamin Cooper-Janvier is currently in his third year of Accounting at the Haskayne School of Business. He is the Vice-President Operations and Finance of Humans of UCalgary and a Director for the Haskayne Students’ Association under the Student-Life portfolio...

He has competed in and won case competitions and continues to pursue athletics, winning a half-marathon in the 20-29 age group. Ben currently works as a Teaching Assistant for Financial Management, but has experience in industry with ATCO Structures and Logistics, retail with lululemon, and health with Gagne Fitness. He is excited his next summer internship at KPMG.

After obtaining his CA designation, Gagan moved to FGL Sports (Forzani Group) as a Senior Accountant. This opportunity allowed Gagan to build his business-partnering skills.

In 2016, Gagan started as Manager of Financial Reporting, Tax and Treasury with the Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation, where he led a team of finance professionals. Working in an exciting industry in a dynamic role was very fulfilling personally and professionally. In 2018, Gagan transitioned to his next challenge with Westjet Airlines where he is a trusted Senior Advisor in the External Reporting and Internal Controls group.

Meghan PerryMeghan Perry CPA, CA

Meghan is an alumni of Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk practice, has served on both for-profit and not-for-profit Boards, and is an active member of Calgary’s investment community. In November of 2017, Meghan was selected to attend TED Women in New Orleans, where she deepened her knowledge and fueled her passion for empowering women in entrepreneurial and leadership positions.
