Join CPA Alberta for its new speaker series for CPA candidates: CPA PEP Talks! Through this speaker series, graduates from the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) will share tips and advice for finding success in CPA PEP and on the Common Final Examination (CFE). These events will help you tackle Core 1, Core 2, capstone projects, and more with less stress and more confidence—with advice straight from those who have done it! Panelists

Linda Liu
Linda graduated from the University of Alberta in 2018 and successfully wrote the CFE in 2020. She completed her practical experience requirements through EPCOR and obtained her designation in early 2021. Outside of work and studying, Linda enjoys hot yoga and hiking.

Fahim Sahray
Fahim successfully wrote the CFE in 2018 and was admitted to the profession in 2019. Fahim currently works as a Tax Analyst at TELUS and is enrolled in CPA Canada’s In-Depth Taxation Program. Outside of work, Fahim enjoys spending time with his family and his children, including cooking BBQ dinners for them in the summer.

Sandra Jampoh
Sandra graduated from the University of Alberta with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Her interest in math and accounting inspired her to complete the accounting program at UBC. She is currently an accountant at a construction firm. Sandra successfully passed the CFE in September 2020. Outside of work, she enjoys photographing people in creative ways, sampling different food cultures, and exploring BC and Alberta.

Phillip Gotgilf
Phil graduated from the University of Calgary in 2018 and successfully wrote the CFE in September 2020. He completed his experience requirements through the PwC Pre-Approved Program and received his designation in February 2021. Phil enjoys weightlifting and travelling in his spare time.
