“I wanted to be a CPA High School Ambassador to help the student community learn more about the accounting profession. I want to be a change catalyst, raise awareness by proactively reaching out to my peers, and ultimately make a difference by helping students make informed career choices.”

Responsibilities

  • Ensure your school has an adequate supply of CPA Alberta materials
  • Inform teachers about the CPA Alberta classroom presentation and the various resources that CPA Alberta can provide for your school
  • Tell students considering a future career in business and/or accounting about the accounting profession and the resources CPA Alberta offers to help them pursue their goals
  • Use appropriate and effective methods such as social media, school announcements and newsletters to promote CPA Alberta high school initiatives and upcoming events
