Lunch with the Pros

Looking for ways to advance your career in business and accounting?

At the fall series of Lunch with the Pros, you’ll get to hear first-hand from a prominent CPA in your community who has pursued the entrepreneurial path in the emerging craft brewery industry. Like many CPAs, this entrepreneur has combined their personal interests with their business insight and technical experience to achieve successful business ventures. Hear how this professional navigated into this industry and how the CPA designation helped them succeed in their career.

You’ll also have the opportunity to network with other local CPAs from various sectors of business, who will share their personal career paths and how the CPA designation has positively impacted their careers. CPA Alberta representatives will also be available onsite to advise on CPA program options.

Calgary – Charlie Bredo CPA, CA

Troubled Monk Brewery
Co-founder

Charlie attended the University of Alberta (Bachelor of Commerce 2004) and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation through Deloitte in Calgary and Collins Barrow in Canmore.

After completing his CA designation, Charlie worked as the Vice President of Operations for Prestigious Properties, a real estate investment firm. There, Charlie oversaw accounting, finance, property management, and operations for assets throughout Western Canada, Ontario, and Texas.
